7555 Gimatic Compact Sprue Gripper with Diamond Texture & Vacuum Part Detection
Diamond textured fingers provide excellent gripping of small to large sprues. This design is also excellent for sprues that need to be pulled or stripped from a mold cavity. This gripper utilizes a robots existing vacuum detection switch for verification of sprue / part and must be connected to compressed air to get a sprue gripped confirmation.

- Gripper has a G1/8 air port opposed to the old-style Gimatic DD grippers that use M5 fittings.
- Gripper must be connected to compressed air to get a sprue gripped confirmation. It is recommended that grippers be run individually on their vacuum-monitored airline (high vacuum). Flow restrictions will affect function when splitting up one vacuum line to these grippers.

Gripper
These vacuum generators are made of lightweight and impact resistant plastic. They are great for in-line use to individual vacuum cups or vacuum cup clusters. Can be mounted using the holes, hardware purchased separately. Comes with 6mm push-to-connect-fittings pre-installed on both ends of the vacuum generator. RO1 silencer is included.
New Sensor Slot position provides sensing without interfering with the part being gripped, sensors sold separately. Soft touch, non-marking HNBR pads have a maximum temperature of 302°F. The gripper must be connected to compressed air to get a sprue gripped confirmation.

Concave saw jaws provide excellent gripping of small to large sprues. This can also be useful for gripping parts as they nest in the radiused jaw. The gripper must be connected to compressed air to get a sprue gripped confirmation.
This bracket allows a OFC-14-10 Cylinder to be easily mounted to the body of a DD20-16 gripper. The OFC cylinder can be equipped with a few optional accessories intended to eject a runner stuck to the jaw of the gripper.
