• Are used in centralized or semi-centralized applications where some cups may not be touching the part surface and leakage needs to be minimized to prevent vacuum loss. Keeping number of cups not sealing to a minimum is ideal.
• Longer cycle times since picking and placing of parts take more time. Blow off can help with reducing cycle times.
• Not as well suited to picking Semi-Porous and Porous parts since flow rate is restricted.
• Ideal for non-textured surfaces that seal well for example: glass, sheet metal, and smooth plastic.
• Suitable for working in any orientation (parallel or perpendicular).
• More sensitive to dust, water, debris clogging the 0.6mm orifice.
• Can still be used to verify vacuum level achieved.
