These OD gripping Air Hands operate on the same principal as the ID style, except they grip on a parts outside diameter. Because of the unique gripping method of these OD Air Hands, relatively large parts and sprues can be firmly gripped and stabilized. The Air Hands maximum inflating pressures are low and therefore require a regulator to be used. Also, because of the neoprene rubber and silicone materials, it is recommended that dry air is used. Life expectancy is similar for the OD style as compared to the ID style.
