6597 Gimatic 35° Gripper Finger with Sensor Slot OFA50-35S
35 degree gripper fingers are commonly used in two applications. They are often used to reach behind the part and help snap the part out of the mold. And they are also used in conjunction with vacuum cups to help stabilize large or deep core parts. This reduces shear on the vacuum cup and allows it to maintain a good seal. Vacuum cup flexing is reduced while the part is in transport.
Dual sensor slots provide confirmation of the finger position. The sensor slots extend the overall length of the gripper finger body. This is an advantage because gripper fingers almost always require the use of extensions for achieving sufficient reach.
