3961 >ASS< Compact Gripper PGR-P 50 with 16mm Stroke, Double Acting
PGR-P Parallel grippers are used to precisely grip components and often used in insert applications. These require custom made jaws that EMI can supply as blanks or finished jaws. The PGR-P is specifically designed to provide 3 different sensing options with sensors sold separately. There are many mounting options and the compact gripper is double acting and can be used as an internal or external gripping.

- Opening force at 87 psi: 210N
- Closing force at 87 psi: 180N
- Gripper Sensing Options: Use 2 round inductive sensors mounted using the included sensor bracket. This setup is recommended for jaw open/close sensing. Or use 1 MFS T2 programmable sensor which is recommended if the inductive sensor option is not feasible due to space constrain. This sensor outputs 2 signals which can be easily programmed for jaws open & close.The third option for open/close detection uses 2 C-Slot magnetic switches ICS 8, the same ones that are used in pneumatic cylinders. This option again is recommended if the mounting of the gripper prohibits option 1 and a programmable sensor is not desired.

This adapter connects the PGR-P or SGP-S parallel gripper to X profile. The gripper can be mounted parallel or vertical to the profile.
