Upgrade your old style SGP Grippers: Old grippers can be upgraded to use the new Gimatic teachable PRO-SN sensors
In 2020, Gimatic will be assembling and shipping SGP-S grippers with a provision for the new programmable PRO-SN Sensors. This gives the ability to program up to 3 sensing positions on the gripper with one sensing point and has the accuracy to sense mid-stroke conditions. You can use this kit to upgrade your current SGP-S gripper.

Gimatic PRO-SN high sensitivity sensors are digital magnetoresistive sensors with up to 3 programmable output signals for SGP-S Grippers. When the programmed switched position is reached, the corresponding output is activated, and its status is indicated visually with the LEDs. The type of output can also be programmed (N.O. or N.C.) whereas type of the sensor (PNP or NPN) is set at the factory and cannot be changed.
