• Gimatic applies their pneumatic technology in grippers to make nipper bodies for plastic degating applications. The Gimatic GN series round body nippers have higher cutting force ratings compared to similarly sized units. This means a smaller nipper can often be applied minimizing space, weight, and cost.
• Vessel nipper body housings are made of aluminum, and are lighter than comparable nippers. Vessel nippers have two available input ports for compressed air, and bottom mounting holes.
• Swanstrom nipper body housings are made of aluminum, and are lighter than comparable nippers. These are a very nice “Made in the USA” nipper alternative at a competitive price.
• Nile nipper body housings are cast metal, and are therefore heavier than comparable aluminum nippers. Unlike others, they only have one input port for compressed air, and no bottom mounting holes.
